It’s that time again: summer is coming to an end, and it’s back to the routine chaos that is Back To School. For moms, it means standing in line at the uniform store with all of the other 327 moms (and dads). It means standing in line at one of six chain office supply stores (because not all six ever have all of what the kid needs), and then dragging everyone to the grocery store to wait in yet another unnecessarily long line for food. And not just house food: lunch food, after school snacks, and easy dinners because cooking sucks when you work full time and the kids are tired from 9.3 hours of homework.
Yes. I get it. I also get the other side of life, which is finding an activity for the kids (and you. You? Yes, you) that will get them out of the house, but not out of the house too much where homework doesn’t get done, and not every day of the week in the hot sun until it’s dinner time. Because, remember, you didn’t cook. You also are looking for an activity that will calm them the f**k down, and not break the bank.
Here is where we come in. Four Feathers Yoga is now offering kids yoga classes. Tuesdays and Thursday, from 5:30 pm until 6:15 pm, you can join your child for 45 minutes of bliss (mostly) and fun. It is a great way to bond with your child, and meet other parents that are like-minded. If your child is between the ages of 4 and 14, please join our yoga family! We create an environment that focuses on self-care, self-awareness, and selflessness. This class is sure to be something that can be enjoyed by parent and child for the same reasons and different ones too!
